Exactly underneath on the left, Moses is on the peak of the mountain where God the tablets of the Law. To the right, Moses on Mount Herb unlooses his sandals before the vision of the Mother of God as a Burning Bush. Both depictions are placed in a background with scant vegetation, whre indeed the sigh of the transformation by God of Moses' rod into a snake and vice versa is depicted. The bush that burns is not consumed symbolizes, as wll known, the virginity of the Mother of God and is a prefiguration of the mystery of the Incarnation of Our Saviour. |
