Description

The treasure (found in Kumluca, Turkey) consisted of church liturgical objects, such as an oil lamp, a censer, book covers, and other liturgical vessels. Some of the treasure items are now part of the Dumbarton Oak Museum Collection. The treasure probably belonged to the monastery of Sion at Myra (mod. Demre), Lycia.
