Back of the processional cross called “Croce di Agnello” conserved in the Archiepiscopal Museum of Ravenna.
The cross, result of many restoration works, mostly it is believed to have been created between the eleventh and twelfth centuries
The oldest parts are the heads of 40 saints in the arms of the cross.
The figures of Risen Christ and the Virgin in prayer are more recent and they date back to the sixteenth century.
