Basilica of San Vitale, presbytery, north wall: detail of one of the two impost capitals with rippled shape placed in the trifora of the matroneum. They are the only specimens with that form preserved in Ravenna. The monogram depicted in the dosseret is mostly interpreted with the name of the bishop Vittore.
