dc.description<p>Basilica of San Vitale, floor mosaic of the central octagon, detail of one of the two segments dating back to the sixth century belonging to the original decoration of the Basilica. The two-floor segments were found during the restoration works coordinated by Renato Bartoccini between 1929 and 1933.</p>
