Basilica of San Vitale, view of the floor plan during the restoration works coordinated by Renato Bartoccini between 1929 and 1933. Two segments of the sixth century floor mosaics belonging to the original decoration of the Basilica were discovered. They were subsequently restored and placed in the octagon pavement together with the other six floor segments dating back to the sixteenth century.
