Perugia: Church of S. Bernardino, sarcophagus used as the main altar. Egidio was buried inside (end of the 13th c. - 1887). It is of the columned type with Christ enthroned in the centre, between the personification of the Ecclesia and Apostles. The lid is decorated with scenes from the Old Testament, in particular the Ark of Noah and Jonah.
