dc.description<p>Basilica of San Francesco, Sarcophagus with five shell-shaped niches with the scene of “Traditio Legis”. On central niche, is depicted Christ giving a scroll to Saint Paul. Three apostles are figured in niches beside. On the lid acroteria are carved the coats of arms of Bensai and Del Corno family, who owned the sarcophagus in seventeenth century.</p>
