Description: 

Floor mosaic with a peacock, a vase and vines inside an octagon. On the sides a decoration appears with ribbons and geometric decorative motifs.
The mosaic was found and removed in the nineteenth century from the archaeological site. Today, it is considered that it belonged to the destroyed “Basilica Beati Probi” in Classe, near Ravenna.
