Ravenna, Basilica of San Giovanni Evangelista, portal. It is decorated with bas-reliefs and statues. On portal lunette is depicted the appearance of Saint John to Galla Placida, with two groups of angles sideways. Beside portal splay is figured the Annunciation to Virgin Mary; on gable center is represented San John and one Emperor, on his left side Saint Barbaziano with church ministers, on his right side Galla Placida with soldiers; Jesus Christ frames the depiction on gable top.
