The original building of the Nymphaeum consisted of a rectangular room with a central apse facing an entrance with two columns leading into a secend reactangular room or open countryard. The entire building, once decorated with various fountains and cisterns, has four chronological phases modifications, rebuilding and extensive additional constructions.
