dc.description	<p>In the upper part of the semi-cylinder of the apse is represented the Communion of the Apostles.Christ id depicted twice, showing from the small side openings of a polygonal ciborium, and followed by an angel carrying a fan. On the left of the composition Christ is offering the bred to the Apostle Peter while giving a blessing. On the right half, he is offering the wine to the Apostle Paul, holding a large chalice in both hands. Behind the two major apostles follow others, five on each side, waiting to partake of Holy Communion. All can be identified by the initial letter of their names. There is some commotion in the left-hand group, where the last apostle, Judas, is turning in the opposite direction.</p>
