Ioannis is presented as a young, slim person with grey hair, beard and seperated moustache. His clothes are reaching his claves; His sleveless gey-green tunic is slightly shorter than his grey tunic, which is visible at the lower part of the fresco. He is wearing high, black boots. the landscape is green, while on the pale-yellow background of the horizon is written with capital letters the following inscription: '' Invocation of the servant of God, Ioannes Moutoullas founder and his wife, Irene''.
