dc.description<p>St Paul, the apostle of the Nations, who was painted as a bald, oblong figure, with a brown beard and crooked nose. With his right raised hand he is giving the benediction and holding in his left hand an opened scroll, with a fragmentary inscription, written with capitals letters. The bunch of rolled scrolls symbolizes his epistles.</p>
