Description: 

Jesus is sitting on a young donkey of white color riding towards Jerusalem. In his left hand Jesus holds a white rolled scroll along with the rein of the animal, while a grey garment is turned around his arm, which he holds tightly. He is giving benediction to he people. They are represented by three figures of the same height, two persons of middle age with rich beards and a woman, all standing next to each other. White turbans and headbands are covering their heads. A child wearing white clothes is bending in front of the animal spreading his clothes on the ground, so that donkey steps on them. The walled town of Jerusalem with its castles and bastions can be seen back at the right corner of the scene. A stylized palm tree with an S-form trunk fills the empty space between Jesus and the group of the Jews. At the left, the two apostles, Peter and Paul, are followinf Jesus on foot.
