Title: Holy Bishopric of Morphou: The presentation in the Temple, Church of the Holy Virgin in Moutoullas

Description: 

The scene is taking place in the church, in front of the holy altar. A ciborium supported on four columns shelters the holy altar with its two hanging candleholders, next to a folded red hanging cloth from the roofs. The Elder Symeon is handing Jesus. Mary is stretching her hand, which are covered with her red garment in order to take Jesus back. St Anne follows the Holy Virgin and holds at her right hand a scroll with the following inscription: ''this infant fastened up eath and heaven''. She is followed by Joseph, who id holding pigeons or turtledoves.
