Description: 

An enormous figure if the Holy Virgin , as main figure of the scene, was depicted at the center of a cave with triangular endings. The interior of the cave was painted black, referring to the darkness of the Sin and Hades, whode defeat was accomplished with the Resurrection of Jesus. A red portable matress, which the Jews used to carry with them during their trips, is laid under Mary. The half standing Mary with her red shoes is bending her knees and turns her head to the left, where Jesus and her husband are. Jesus is lying in swaddling clothes at her left in a rectangular crib made of square bricks and raises his head. Behind the crib are seen the heads of a white horse and agrey ox. Three Magin guided by an angel. An the top right an angle is announcing to the sheperds the Nativity of Jesus.
