St John Chrysostom, patriarch of Constantinople, dressed in polystavrion, while also a yellow encherion falling is seen, next to his epimanikon. He is holding an inscribed scroll with the inscription: ''The God, our Lord of the Heavenly Brady'' The initial letter of the inscription, inscribed into a painted cross, resembles the decorative art of the manuscripts.
