Description: 

Department of Antiquities, Republic of Cyprus, Lythragkomi, Church of Panagia (Our Lady) of Kanakaria. Vaulted-basilica with three domes in a row. Τhe church originally belonged to the architectural type of the timber-roofed basilica, built probably in the 5th century, from which only the apse is preserved today. The present form of the church was formed in the 12th century. Until 1979, the church preserved unique mosaics of the 6th century, which were illegally removed.
