Fresco of the Nativity.Consists of almost all the individual scenes that make up th story. The Magi are depicted twice. The two shepherds milking their sheep reflects everyday bucolic life in mediaeval Cyprus.A shepherd palying a bagpipe, rather than some other kind of wind insrument, in the Nativity composition is quite rare in Byzantine icon painting. It is also interesting to note the naive style of the two animals warming the Babe in the crib.
