Church of the Holy Cross of Ayiasmati is in the Troodos Mountains, in the district of Pitsilia. Is a timber-roofed structure. It represents the singlecell aisleless type of churc, and is surrounded by a clesed passageway, the ambulatory, on alli four sides. The roofing system is a steeply pithched, double structure, which means that there are in fact two roofs, one inside the other.
