dc.description<p>Two panels of the Projecta casket with a truncated rectangular pyramid shape. The name derives from the woman's name in the Latin inscription engraved on the rim across the front of the lid: “secvnde et proiecta vivatis in christo”. On the two panels a procession with Projecta entering a domed bath in the company of her attendants and a toliette scene with a a lady flanked by handmaids bringing her articles of toliette, nereids and peacocks.</p><p>Chronological details: ca. 380</p>
