dc.description	<p>Two types (“acute arched” and “beehive”) of burial chambers from the Roman/Early Christian necropolis of Palatia, Saria islet. Built of rubble and mortar and a small quantity of bricks; they normally have a single rectangular room, often with a small porch, and are covered by a barrel vault. Their size (3.5–5.5 m long, 3.5–4.5 m wide) and orientation vary. One can recognize overall four different types of roofs: the semicircular vault, the acute arch, the pitched roof, and the beehive cupola.</p>
