Crypt, basilica of St. Clement. Detail of a composite two-zone capital, with a basket shape kalathos, decorated with a woven pattern, lying on an early imperial Roman column (1st-2nd c.), reused and re-carved in the 6th c. AD. It is decorated with low-relief shoots and branches.
