Holy Bishopric of Morphou: Descents To Hades, Church of the Virgin Podithou in Galata

Christ is entering from left and bearing a large cross, smashes the doors of Hades and removes Adam, who is beset by the supplicating Eve and other figures. To the left of the scenea are depicted prophets, among whom van be distinguished an aged David and young Solomon.
