Description

On the right, in southern wall, the full-length Holy Virgin with Christ was depicted under an arch. The Holy Virgin is seated on a throne with a richly decorated back and a podium on the ground. Mary id holding on her left the young Jesus, who is depicted at the same time as a child and as an elderly person, i.e. although he is represented as a child, he is bald, symbolizing the wisdom of an elderly person. Jesus is blessing with his right hand and keeps a rolled scroll in the left one. He wears a grey mantle and a reddish tunic with rich folds. The Holy Virgin in a melancholic expression is bending her head towards Jesus and raises her right open hand.
