On the large despotic icons from the central zone of the iconostasis, there is preserved that of Christ, the Aarchangel Michael, the Virgin Mother, the Saint John Prodromos, apostles and angels.The original carved wooden iconostasis that is still preserved in situ and bears the family coat of arms of De Coron (three red stars or spurs on a golden background) and the Lion symbol of Venice, who at that time held sway in Cyprus. displays corresponding aesthetic perceptions, with a mixture of late Gothis and Renaissance elements.
