Description
Dish. Part of body and rim missing. Red fabric . Low ring-shaped base. Body with inclined sides and slightly inverted lip. The interior is covered with white slip and decorated in the champleve technique (cut-slip ware): a partly damaged picrure of two animals, possibly two deers of wild goats; traces of a thrid smaller animal can also be seen, possibly a hare. Yellow glazing inside and out. (late 12th c.)
