Description
Basilica of San Vitale, presbytery, north wall. In the trifora of the matroneum appear two impost capitals with rippled shape. They are the only specimens with that form preserved in Ravenna. The monogram depicted in the dosseret is mostly interpreted with the name of the bishop Vittore.
