Description
Funerary stele of Aristion. At the top of the base is an inscription, giving the name of the deceased in the genitive. He is depicted as a soldier in profile, facing right. He wears a short chiton under a corselet. The stele was originally painted. It was discovered in Velanideza, Attica.
