Fragmentary sarcophagus decorated by a continuous relief. The lid features acroteria in the form of two male heads at the corners, two figurative scenes and an empty squared framed panel at the centre. The two panels represent, from left to right, the biblical episode of the three young men in the fiery furnace, and three male figures standing in front of a seated man holding a spear of scepter (king or other authority?). The casket's relief decoration is divided into two levels, the upper one depicting scenes from the New Testament and the Apocryphal Gospel of Peter, the lower one scenes from the Old Testament. The clipeus at the centre bears the bust portraits of the deceased couple.
