Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, mosaic wall decoration, detail of the north wall: the scenes with the stories of Christ in the upper area and the prophets in the middle area belong to the primitive decoration of the church built during the reign of Theodoric like the Madonna with Child and angels in the third zone. The procession of virgins and the three Wise Men was executed during the episcopate of Agnellus.
The three Magi and two Angels was reworked in the 19th century.
