dc.description<p>Lythragkomi, Panagia Kanakaria, mosaic depicting Apostle Thaddaeus. In 1979 this mosaic was ripped from the apse and sold on the art market. In December 1997, it was returned to Cyprus, where it is currently on display in the Byzantine Museum of the Archbishop Makarios III Foundation.</p>
