Detail of a slab and flanking posts reused in the altar of the abbey of S. Pietro in Valle. The architectural elements are decorated with bas-relief and incised motifs, geometrical patterns, stylized phytomorphic motifs and human figures. The slab bears two Latin inscriptions naming the donor (duke Hildericus) and the sculptor (Ursus).
