Title: Holy Bishopric of Morphou:Part of the Raising of Lazarus, Church of the Holy Virgin in Moutoullas

Jesus was painted in the centre of the scene walking fast, towards the grave of his friend, Lazarus. He is holding with his left hand a folded white scroll. Jesus' garment is wrapped around his left arm in order to hold in and walk faster. He is stretching out his right hand adressing a benediction towards Lazarus, who is standing in the open grave and he call him to be raised. The characteristic phrase, which Jesus osed,''Lazarus, come forth'',is wtitten with white, capital letters in front of Christ. The sisters of Lazarus, Martha nad Maria, are kneeling in front of the feet of Jesus. A young man with red clothes looses Lazarus' grave clothes impressed by miracle.
