The semicyclinder of the apse is divided into two registers. The upper register presents the Communion of the Apostles, with Christ in the midde, enthroned behind a low wooden altar. The altar is covered with a whote cloth decorated with coloured stripes reminiscent of Cypriot folk textiles.There are vessels, knives, and loaves of bread on the altar, Arms outspread, Christ as a celebrant holds a loaf of bread and the chalice
