Here one of the eight panels dividing the lowest zone of the dome. The panel is occupied by light, two-story buildings composed of a variety of architectural elements, richly studded with pearls and precious stones, whose architectural composition go back to models of the Greco-Roman tradition. A ciborium above aan an altar occupies the central part, while on the sides, in front of this building, there are two martyrs each in an attitude of supplication. |
