Detail of a sarcophagus lid decorated by a relief: at the corners are acroteria, in the form of male heads; two intermediate narrative scenes: Jonah being swallowed by the pistrix; Jonah resting under the castor bean vine, after being rejected by the sea monster; at the centre, two Erotes holding a rectangular panel, which bears an inlaid decoration (a rectangle surrounded by a geometrical framework), probably later in date.
