dc.description<p>Marble pillar, finely decorated with phytomorphic motifs, is actually placed out at St Mark's Basilica, in Venice. The pillar, originally belonged to Basilica of St Polyeuktos in Constantinople, was probably transferred in Venice during the Fourth Crusade.</p>
